The India Carpet Expo has now been proved to be the sourcing window for the buyers from all over the world and business opportunities for participating manufacturer-exporters are tremendous. The Council has enlarged its efforts in terms of infrastructure & facilities of international stature and India Carpet Expo is opening new business avenues for the participants.

This Council is organizing participation of its registered member-exporters from 15-18 January 2011. The participating firms shall be exhibiting handmade woolen carpets, rugs, druggets and other floor coverings in their respective stands. The total stand area is (approx.) 3500 sq.metres between Hall Nos. 19-20, 21 and in Hall No.5. ( subject to change ) The construction of stand should be in pre fab system, wall to wall new carpet in colour of our choice for laying in every stand, running fascia in 3 colours of our choice, grid ceiling at every two sq.

You are aware that this Council is confronted from time to time with the problem of child labour in the Carpet Industry. To overcome the problem of child labour, the Council has formulated a Code of Conduct for its Member-Exporters. The Code of Conduct requires its Members to ensure that his/her Carpets are woven only on the Looms registered by this Council having no child labour as prohibited by the Child Labour Prohibition & Regulation Act, 1986.
