Subject: Availability of stalls at Shilpi Haat – Baba Kharag Singh Marg

Dear Sir (s),

We are happy to inform you that Carpet Export Promotion Council has organized “Sale of Handmade Carpets” at Shilpi Haat, through its 50 stalls, spread over in two air-conditioned halls, at Baba Kharag Singh Marg, New Delhi from 8th December to 31st December, 2012 and the sale is still going on.  Products displayed by CEPC exhibitors are of Indian Handmade Woolen Carpets, Handmade silk carpets, Hand Knotted Carpets, Hand tufted Carpets, Rugs, Cotton Durries, Woolen Durries, Keelems, Sheggies & other floor coverings from carpet belts i.e. Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Banaras, Amritsar, Gwalior, Pondicherry, Bangalore, Jaipur, Kashmir & Other regions.

We have organized visits of whole sellers and dealers around the town at SHILPI HAAT and they have shown their interest in exhibited items and purchased products almost from all the exhibitors and some bulk deals are also in pipeline.

Some of the exhibitors have sold out their stuffs during the first 10 days and hence they vacated the stalls, as such we have some stalls in SHILPI HAAT.  Members, especially small entrepreneurs who are interested in participation in Sale of their products are requested to send their interests together with Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- per stall at our Office.  The allotment of vacated stalls will be made on FCFS basis.
