You may be aware that one of the conditions for Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) is that every RCMC holder shall furnish quarterly returns of exports to the concerned registering authority. An extract of the Para 2.70 of Chapter-2 of Handbook of Procedures, Vol-1, 2004-2009 (updated as on 11th April,2008), in this regard is given below:
“Furnishing of Returns 2.70 - Exporters shall furnish quarterly returns/details of his exports of different commodities to concerned registering authority.”
It has been noticed that number of exporters who are registered with this Council are not furnishing their export returns regularly. In absence of which this Council is facing problem in assessing and review the export trend and also formulating proposals and submission of data to the Government from time to time.
To facilitate the members the Carpet Export Promotion Council has introduced ‘On-line Submission of Quarterly Export Return. To submit the on-line export returns, members are required to visit website of the Council i.e.,www.indiancarpets.com and click “On-Line Export Returns” thereafter, find Member’s ID and submit the return. In case of any difficulty in submission on-return, please contact CEPC’s office at New Delhi for clarification.
Yours faithfully,
