In order to promote exports of Handmade Woollen Carpets, Rugs, Druggets and other Floor coverings in Sweden as well as to create Brand image of Indian Handmade Carpets for effective projection of Handmade Woollen Carpets, Rugs, Druggets and other Floor coverings on a large scale in Swedish market this Council have decided to participate in the Stockholm Furniture Fair in Stockholm (Sweden) from 9-13 February 2010.
Stockholm Furniture Fair is the largest annual fair of Furniture including Carpets & Floor coverings held in Sweden and an ideal platform in which Indian exporters can display their products before the right forum.
The participation charges are Rs.30,000/- (tentatively) per participant which includes furnished stand of 9 or 12 sq.metres depending upon the availability of space.
Please note that this activity is being organized by the Council with the financial assistance from Ministry of Textiles, as such no MDA Grant towards air fare or space rent is admissible to the participants. However, the Council will provide freight subsidy on despatch and return of the exhibits of the participants within the restricted weight limit/ceiling on the consolidation shipment or on reimbursement basis for a limited amount for which modalities will be intimated to the selected participants.
The participants are required to bear the cost of air fare, hotel accommodation, air freight of the exhibits over and above of the ceiling.
We would request the interested members to please send enclosed application form duly filled in and signed alongwith participation charges of Rs.30,000/- (tentatively) by D/D or Multicity Cheque in favour of this Council latest by 10th December, 2009. Please note that this Council has limited stands therefore, please remit the participation charges alongwith the application form at the earliest. Request for withdrawal and refund of participation charges will not be considered after 22nd December 2009.
We would also like to inform that the Council reserves the right for selection of any of the Exhibitor and the decision of the Council will be binding to all Members of the Council.
