    Subject :- 12th Global Indian Festival 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 4-8 June 2014.


Dear Sirs,


   This Council is inviting applications from it’s registered member-exporters for  participation in the 14th Global Indian Festival 2014 at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) from 4th to 8th June 2014. This event is organized by Asc Agenda Suria Communication Sdn Bhd, Malaysia from the last 11 years. This year they have included Carpets & Floor coverings in the list of Exhibits.  It has been informed by the Organizers that they are inviting  Malaysia’s Chamber of Commerce including Malaysia International Chamber of Commerce, Malaysia Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Malaysia Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry & Malaysian Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry. In addition they are sending  invitations to few more business organizations who are engaged in carpet business. It has further been informed by the Organizers that this is the B2B Exhibitions and  every year more than 2 lakh trade visitors visiting this event. During this Fair one day Buyer Seller Meet is being organized by them for CEPC members.  The Organizers is releasing Advertisements for this event  in all the local Print Media, Radio, Bill Board, Internet, Buses etc.. Malaysia is an upcoming market for Carpets & Floor coverings and having potential to explore further, we would, therefore, request the interested member-exporters to avail this opportunity by participating in the above event.    


   The facilitation charges is Rs.1,18,000/- which includes built up stand of 12 sq.m. The participants will be entitled for MDA Grant within the maximum ceiling of Rs.2,00,000/- ( towards Venue cost + Air Fare in Excursion Class).


    Interested member-exporters are requested to  send the enclosed application form along with facilitation charges of Rs.1,18,000/- by D/D latest   by 21st April 2014.  


    Request for withdrawal and refund of facilitation charges will not be considered after participation of a member is confirmed by this Council.


    We would also like to inform that the Council reserves the right to accept/reject  any of the application and the decision of the Council in this regard will be final and binding upon all members of the Council.
