Dear Fellow Member Exporters,

I am pleased to inform that I have taken over as Chairman of the Carpet Export Promotion Council as per the elections concluded on  25th July, 2007 at Hotel Radisson, NOIDA (U.P.).  The official communication about this has already been sent to you vide letter No. CEPC/SEC/ELE-18/2007 dated: 26.7.2007.

I  take this opportunity to thank you all on behalf of myself and all Members of the COA including 1st Vice-Chairman Shri Mahavir Pratap Sharma (Alias Shri Raja Sharma) and 2nd Vice-Chairman Shri Qamaruddin Ansari for the support extended to all of us.

It is needless to mention that immediate past Chairman Shri V.R. Sharma has contributed a lot to the Council’s working and all of us are thankful to him. I not only wish to continue the same spirit but will also try my best to improve working in every field of Council’s operations.  All the newly elected Members of the Committee of Administration are very keen to do their best for improving the working of the organization which can bring maximum benefits to all the Members of our Council.

I personally request you to write to me in person or approach me or any other Elected Member nearer to your place for any problems or suggestions which can enlighten us about the improvement in the working of our Council. The positive and constructive feedback from Members of the Council is a must for the success of our working.  Therefore, please do not hesitate in writing about your problems or suggestions. I myself and other newly elected Members of the Committee of Administration are available to address all your queries.  I am giving below a list of newly elected Committee with contact details for your ready reference.
