Subject:- Participation in Furnitex in Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 10-13 July 2014.
The Carpet Export Promotion Council has decided to organize participation in Furnitex 2014 in Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 10-13 July 2014. Furnitex, Australia’s largest furniture and furnishings Trade Fair and the co-located Decoration + Design Show organized by the Informa Exhibitions Australia. Featuring hundreds of exhibitors, FURNITEX is the event for the Australian furniture and furnishings industry and is expected to attract thousands of local and international visitors. Australia’s premier interiors event, Decoration + Design, is under the same roof and will feature an impressive line-up. This fair will thus provide an ideal platform to the Indian Carpet Exporter to showcase their products before the potential buyer and it is expected that their participation in this fair will generate good business.
Interested member-exporters can send enclosed application form duly filled in and signed alongwith D/D of Rs.1,65,000/- towards facilitation charges for 12 sq.m. built up stand. The space is limited, therefore, we would request you to please send the enclosed application form alongwith facilitation charges latest by 12th May 2014. The participants will be eligible for reimbursement of MDA Grant within the maximum ceiling of Rs.2,00,000/- after fulfillment of the conditions of MDA.
Please note that as per MDA Scheme minimum number of participants is 10(ten) and in case required number of application are not received, the Council reserves the right to cancel the activity under the MDA Scheme and the facilitation charges will be refunded to the applicants.
We would like to state that refund of facilitation charges shall not be considered to the participants after confirmation for allotment of space by this Council.
We would further like to inform that the Council reserves the right to accept/reject any of the application and the decision of the Council in this regard will be final and binding upon all members of the Council.
